SUMMARY:30th Annual GenesisHR BattleGreen Run
DESCRIPTION:This annual tradition is celebrated by the local community for both the spirit of the event and the incredible fundraising achieved by participants for local nonprofits. \nWe will run as a community on Sunday\, November 2nd @ 12:15 PM to raise money for a number of deserving nonprofits. Choose from a 5K walk\, 2k walk\, 5K run or (almost)10K run….OK it’s only 9.857k…we just want to start and end in the same place. If you prefer to maintain social distancing or just can’t make it to Lexington on race day you can participate virtually. \nLast year\, more than $160\,000 was awarded\, which was a record for us. This year\, given that it is our 30th annual event\, we expect a much larger crowd. Volunteers are critically important for our event to run smoothly! \nLearn more: www.battlegreenrunfoundation.org

DESCRIPTION:Join Winchester Community Music School for a celebration of toe-tapping fiddle tunes! WCMS faculty member Molly Tucker and guest artist Casey Murray will present a concert of original and traditional fiddle tunes in the New England\, Celtic\, and Old Time styles. As dance musicians\, they will share music that inspires movement and joy\, in addition to songs they love and original compositions. \nFree admission—all are welcome. A suggested $20 donation supports our concerts and performers. Presented live in Nichols Performance Hall at WCMS and also streamed live on our YouTube and Facebook channels.
