DESCRIPTION:Hancock Church’s free noontime concerts series concludes on April 1st. Violinist Aija Reke and pianist Lorena Tecu perform the Sonata in A major for Violin and Piano by Cesar Franck. A doctoral student at Boston University\, Aija has appeared at the church many times in our orchestras and with the early music group A Joyful Noyse. \nHancock Church is wheelchair accessible and has single user accessible bathrooms. Our front entrance is accessible\, and once inside you will find an elevator that goes up to Clark Hall. There is free parking in our back lot where there are ADA parking spots\, and there are two more such parking spots on the side of our building. \nOur Noontime Concert Series is generously supported by the Creative Expressions program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. This grant enables us to hire top notch musicians and present them to you free of charge!

SUMMARY:Tower Park Reenactment
DESCRIPTION:The battlefield of the Battle of Lexington and Concord is a quarter of a mile wide and 20 miles long\, with fighting taking place continually along the road between Concord and Charlestown. Following the morning reenactment on the Green\, watch a demonstration of the tactics used along the Battle Road that day. British and Militia reenactors will spar in a variety of terrain in Tower Park\, a natural amphitheater with woods\, hills\, stone walls\, and more. A vignette at Munroe Tavern will precede the battle. Please be advised that parking bans will be in place. Tower Park is located one mile from the town center\, and walking is highly encouraged.
