Ukraine\, a country whose language\, culture\, people\, identity\, land and borders have never known freedom from threat\, has consistently produced inventive classical music of distinction and the highest caliber that is all but unknown. Ukrainian Music Initiative’s mission is to elevate Ukrainian classical music to its rightful place in the Western canon.
