SUMMARY:Bathsheba Spooner: A Revolutionary Murder Conspiracy
DESCRIPTION:What drove Bathsheba Spooner\, a woman from elite eighteenth-century New England society\, to conspire with American and British soldiers to murder her husband during the American Revolution? Join historian Andrew Noone to explore the sensational true-crime story of a cold husband\, a lovestruck teenager\, British prisoners of war\, and a beautiful\, possibly unstable woman caught amid the upheaval of wartime New England. For centuries\, the case has fascinated and baffled residents of central Massachusetts—and remains one of the most notorious true crimes of the 1700s.

SUMMARY:Love Letters
DESCRIPTION:Real-life husband and wife Paula Plum and Richard Snee star in A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters\, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama about two friends and the letters they exchange over a lifetime. Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner write to each other for nearly fifty years — from birthday party thank-you notes of childhood\, through boarding school and college\, and on into marriages\, careers\, triumphs\, and losses. Born into the same world of privilege and expectation\, Andy and Melissa remain each other’s truest confidants even as circumstance and timing keep pulling them apart. By turns witty\, tender\, and devastating\, it is an elegant testament to the people who shape our lives\, and to what only the written word can express when speaking face to face proves impossible.
