DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nOn May 30\, students from the Youth STEAM Initiative will present “Illuminate Heritage: Lightscapes of Lexington\,” an immersive projection mapping experience that transforms local architecture into a living story of community at the Lexington Depot from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. \nGuided by a Lexington-based university professor\, students use light\, animation\, and real community imagery to explore a simple idea: what does it mean to step forward? \nThrough a series of visual scenes\, from quiet moments of need to acts of service\, creativity\, and leadership\, the program highlights “citizen heroes”: individuals and groups whose everyday actions shape Lexington. Rather than spotlighting a few\, the experience reveals the collective impact of many. \nAs the projections unfold\, one message emerges: \nIt starts with a choice.
