Lexington Visitors Center Announces 2026 Season of Guided Tours and Experiences
March 26, 2026
The Lexington Visitors Center is thrilled to announce a robust season of programming, offering families and history enthusiasts alike with opportunities to explore the Birthplace of American liberty.
Several programs that have become favorites among visitors will return this season, including the popular Liberty Ride Trolley Tour, now celebrating its 25th year of colonial-costumed guides leading guests through historic sites in Lexington and Concord. Highlights of the tour include the Henry H. Kitson Minute Man Statue, Revolutionary War Monument, Paul Revere Capture Site, homes of 19th-century authors Louisa May Alcott and Ralph Waldo Emerson, and the Old North Bridge.
The Liberty Ride runs April 22-30 and May 1-25 at select times, and May 26-October 31 daily. Complete tour schedules and ticket information are available at tourlexington.us/tours.

Battle Green Tours have been reimagined with updated technology and a new name: The Battle Green 360 Tours. These enhanced walking tours transport visitors to the Revolutionary Era, offering a deeper look at the events that unfolded on the Battle Green on April 19, 1775. Along the way, participants explore the people, places, and pivotal moments that helped spark the fight for American independence. Augmented reality experiences during the Battle Green 360 tours will provide interactive views of the Women’s Monument – “Something is Being Done”, the Belfry, and the Meeting House, which once stood on the Battle Green.
Battle Green 360 tours run frequently from April through Memorial Day and daily from Memorial Day through October, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays in November. A full tour schedule and ticket information are available at tourlexington.us/tours/.
A new video experience brings the events leading up to April 19, 1775, to life, following Paul Revere and fellow riders as they journey to warn Lexington and Concord of the British plan to seize a large stockpile of arms and gunpowder. In addition to the story of Paul Revere’s Ride, two new companion videos highlight the lives of Eli Burdoo, Prince Estabrook, and Pompey Fiske, offering insight into lesser-known figures from the Colonial era.
Narrated by historian Sean Osborne, these films uncover untold stories and present fresh perspectives on the American Revolution and the Battle of Lexington. Showtimes are between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM daily.

The 2026 season also begins with one of Lexington’s most anticipated annual traditions: the Patriots’ Day Reenactment. Held each April, the reenactment commemorates the opening battle of the American Revolution with a dramatic early-morning reenactment on the Battle Green.
“Each season, we’re excited to offer new and returning visitors meaningful ways to experience Lexington’s role in the American Revolution,” says Tour Services Coordinator Jackson Rhodes. “From immersive tours to signature events like Patriots’ Day, our goal is to make history accessible, engaging, and memorable for all.”
Whether visiting for a single event or a full day of exploration, the Lexington Visitors Center serves as a welcoming starting point to experience the stories that continue to shape this historic community.
