Visitor Reviews

“We did a fabulous family of four tour for $40… Fantastic!!! This IS where all schools and homeschoolers need to visit. If not here, then where??? Our guide was filled with all the facts and stories. Thank you.”

- Rich H.

“Our tour guide was GREAT! He explained what happened during the battle of Lexington so well we felt like we could see it happening. We were on a two-week American Revolution tour with kids, and this was one of the best tours we did. You can buy tickets online or at the front desk.”

- Jackie F.

“Staff was nice and very helpful in giving insight and recommendations for the surrounding location. The small visitor center has some educational…exhibits(?)…and plenty of pamphlets. The Visitor Center is also home to great restrooms which (on multiple occasions) have saved me in dire situations.”

- Greater M.

“Newly rebuilt visitors center in Lexington across from the Green. I was here for the Herb Festival on the lawn. Inside they have town logo tshirts and revolutionary period books. Clean bathrooms. Guided tours. Town parking across the street including EV charging.”

- Jeff M.

“The Visitors Center is free and has a great model of the battle. However we took the tour and our guide was outstanding. I would strongly recommend him. Also he played the dude for us.”

- Dan H.

“Incredible, private trolley tour of Concord for my parents’ Anniversary Party!! Thank you, Katie Johnson of the Lexington Visitors Center for organizing the fun-filled morning! Our Minuteman tour guide, Dale, brought history to life with his animated and detailed history of battlefields, war strategies, weapons, etc.!! He even had us marching behind him while he played his Fife! Thanks Dale for teaching and entertaining us!! Deborah, our driver, was also professional and patient with our changes to the itinerary. Overall, a fantastic day!!!”

- Anna F.

“Service is super in this place. They gave us lots of information about Lexington and surrounding area. The Visitors Center is a small building with lots of historical places nearby. Parking is free outside of the Visitors Center although there are meters along the street.”

“Informative Visitors Center. We bought tickets here to do a trolley tour of Lexington and Concord.
The tour is a must! Eke out time for it!”

- Ken D.

“My husband and I decided to go to the Visitor Center on our first day in Lexington. It was the best decision of the entire visit! Besides the lovely shopping area, we were welcomed by a gentleman who works at the center. I think his name was Tony. He helped us chose some books from the gift shop and gave us some free things that really sparked our interest in this wonderful historic area! Then, since we had lots of time, he was kind enough to give us a tour of the centers historic displays and the stories that go with them! It was absolutely wonderful! We will never forget the time spent there. Please tell the gentleman who helped us that we truly appreciated him and all we learned as well as his suggestions on places to go and things to see during our stay. Thanks to him it has been a memorable trip!”

- Judy S.

“Awesome Visitors Center. People are friendly and knowledgeable! We took the tour and we’re so happy we did! Max was great! So many stories. So much better than just walking on our own. Only $15.00 charge for the tour. A+++++.”

- Jan W.

“What a surprise. Clean and free. Super clean restrooms in the basement. Good information and tons of freebies. I bought a book by George Washington. You can also make a small donation. There are great souvenirs for those at home. Enjoy the grass outside and play some games. Thank you, Lexington!”
