Lexington is home to many iconic and significant national historic landmarks that are a strong draw for local, national, and international visitors. The Battle Green and the surrounding area are the sites of the first Revolutionary War battle.  The nearby Buckman Tavern, the Hancock-Clarke House, and the many historic homes that abut the Battle Green create a picturesque image for visitors and define the town’s character.

The Lexington Cultural District enhances these sites and highlights Lexington’s arts and cultural community.
