More Information
In 2024, the Town of Lexington Economic Development Office received a $48,000 grant from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. This funding was used to create a seven minute animated video of Paul Revere’s Ride, and two shorter videos describing stories of Black Lexingtonians such as Eli Burdoo, Prince Estabrook, and Pompey Fiske. Created in collaboration with and narrated by Historian Sean Osborne, these videos of Black Patriots in Lexington unearth untold stories and bring new perspectives to the American Revolution and the Battle of Lexington.
