Lexington Legacy 5K Run/Walk

The Lexington Legacy 5k run/walk will be held this year on Small Business Saturday, November 29th at 9am.In 2008, the Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field program hosted its first annual “Alumni Race” on the same, nearly all-road course the team has called home since 1970. Over the last 17 years, with the support of athletes, coaches, and parent volunteers our tradition has grown into an event that allows us to share the sport we love with the larger community. All proceeds will go to support the LHS Cross Country / Track & Field team. The course offers a very spectator friendly layout. Spectators can view participants at the start, then walk no more than 400 meters to the one-mile mark. Participants loop back to that exact location just after the two-mile mark. Spectators can then walk back to Lincoln Field to catch participants as they finish.
