The History of the Lexington Farmer’s Market

The Lexington Farmer’s Market (LFM) was founded in 2005 by three residents and support from the Town. The market is overseen by a Board of Directors and has three markets throughout the year: summer farmer’s market, winter farmer’s market, and a Thanksgiving FEASTival. The LFM is a producer-only market, meaning that all products sold are locally grown, locally sourced, or locally crafted.

What Vendors Are at the Market?

Vendors for the 2025 summer market sell products ranging from baked goods to beverages, produce, meat, poultry, fish, prepared foods, and specialty foods. Some of the vendors attending this year’s market include:

  • Black Eyed Susan Sheep Dairy
  • Bombay Brunch
  • Boston Smoked Fish Co.
  • Bread Obsession
  • Busa Farm
  • Butternut Bakehouse
  • Captain Marden’s Seafood
