Michael Arnowitt Piano Concert at Follen Church in Lexington, Massachusetts

Lively and evocative music featuring the pianist’s “Schumann Scenes” collecting together his personal favourite pieces from different parts of the groundbreaking romantic composer’s life. The diverse program also features piano music by the great Black composer George Walker, classical pieces influenced by Middle Eastern musical traditions, Michael Arnowitt’s own creation “The Stream” incorporating the music of J.S. Bach, Haydn’s classical-period masterpiece Sonata in C minor and Liszt’s exciting Hungarian Rhapsody no. 6. Presented in partnership with Follen Church.
