Recognizing the 50th anniversary of legendary British rock band Queen's debut album and the release of their iconic song "Bohemian Rhapsody", and embracing Freddie Mercury's love of opera, Lexington Pops Chorus presents "At the Opera with Lexington Pops Chorus".
This exciting concert connects well known traditional opera choruses with 50 years of rock opera from Queen and features: Puccini's "Nessun Dorma", selections from Bizet's Carmen, Verdi's "Anvil Chorus" and "Va, Pensiero", and from Queen "Radio Gaga", "Under Pressure", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "You're My Best Friend", and much more!
