The Lexington Soccer Celebration will feature community programming in partnership with local sports and recreation organizations. Youth soccer teams, recreational leagues, and community sports programs will have opportunities to participate through clinics, demonstrations, and youth engagement activities tied to the World Cup matches. These programs will allow young athletes and families to celebrate the world’s most popular sport while fostering local community pride and participation. By highlighting local sports organizations alongside the international tournament, the event will create a meaningful connection between global competition and grassroots athletics.
Lexington Soccer Celebration: June 16–26 ⚽
Lexington Center is gearing up for a 10-day outdoor Soccer Watch Party on the Visitors Center Lawn – subject to licensing agreement – featuring a large LED screen, international matches, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. With 800–1,000+ visitors expected daily, this is a major opportunity to bring consistent foot traffic into the Center.
We encourage businesses to lean in with simple, visible ways to participate – think game-day specials, soccer-themed promotions, extended hours, or even small storefront activations like flags, team colors, or “watch party” signage. Whether it’s a quick grab-and-go offering, a themed menu item, or a “wear your team gear” discount, even small efforts can go a long way in capturing the energy of the event.
Want to be on-site? We have 10 Community Tents available – $100/day ($75 for non-profits) – a great way to engage directly with attendees. Contact the Lexington Chamber of Commerce to book a tent today.
The Town and the Chamber will be promoting the event broadly, which makes this a great opportunity to align your business with a high-energy, community-wide experience and drive new and repeat customers through your doors.
Interested in getting involved or learning more? Join us for a Lexington Soccer Celebration Info Session on May 14 at 5:00 PM in the Estabrook Meeting Room (Basement), Cary Hall. Open to businesses, nonprofits, and community members.
