1361 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA

This home was completed in 1780. The Mullikens were a family of clock and cabinet makers who moved to Lexington from Newburyport circa 1751. The first home and shop of this well-known family was burned by the British during their retreat back to Boston on April 19, 1775. The family then moved to Raymond Tavern at 1377 Massachusetts Avenue, afterwards constructing this home across the street from that location. Now a private residence, the house was moved to its current site circa 1890.
