Like two threads leading to the same center, my backgrounds in art and science have led me to the studio to put a colorful lens on synergy to expand and expound on renewal and possibility.
I was already a painter when I went to graduate school for science and I was immediately fascinated with the beautiful molecules flowing into and out of the cell as they created graceful intertwining pathways. To me they were possibility incarnate and I continued to work on my art throughout graduate school to communicate the beauty and flow I was learning about. At graduation I crossed the stage for my diploma and walked straight back to the studio to paint about the expansiveness, flow, and possibilities that are part of us everyday.
