• Lexington Depot 1st Anniversary Open House – Free to Lexington Residents!

    It has been a year since the Lexington Depot was transformed from a stark white room to a vibrant exhibition space. Thanks to incredible community support, the centuries of family treasures LHM collects and preserves now have a dedicated space that expands the range of stories we tell. Thousands of visitors from all over the world have spent the year learning about the many pieces of history that make Lexington so special. On Saturday, April 11, we want to celebrate this momentous anniversary with you with a free day for Lexington residents! Stop by any time during our new open hours, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM, to explore the full arc of history, from the artists of the 1820s to the soldiers of World War I and beyond, hear a gallery talk, or make a craft to take home.

    Parade Overview

    In celebration of America 250, Lexington will present its Patriots' Day Parade on Saturday, April 18, at 1:30 PM (please note the new start time). The step-off point is at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue, and will follow through to Lexington Center, ending at Worthen Road. 

  • Discovery Day 2026

    Discovery Day, Lexington’s “Town Day” is where people come to “Discover” what Lexington has to offer.
    The Lexington Retailers Association close Mass Ave in the Center and host this family-friendly street fair. Businesses will be selling goods, restaurants selling their food, and civic and municipal organizations letting everyone know just what they do. Also featured will be a beer garden and live entertainment.

Family friendly, dog friendly, and 15+ years strong, it's an annual outdoor tradition that brings locals and visitors alike to Fletcher Park each spring for a weekend that feels like the best block party in Massachusetts. Suggested admission donation of $5–$10 benefits the LABBB Collaborative, serving students with special needs in our community.
