Explore more than 100 acres of meadows, forests, wetlands, and scenic trails at Willard’s Woods, one of Lexington’s most popular conservation areas. With approximately 3 miles of trails, the property is a beautiful place for a walk, nature photography, birdwatching, or simply enjoying some time outdoors.
Once part of farmland operated by the Willard family, the landscape still offers glimpses of its agricultural past alongside pine groves, wildflowers, streams, wetlands, and an old farm pond. Keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way, including deer, foxes, coyotes, and a variety of bird species.
Willard’s Woods is beautiful throughout the year, from summer wildflowers and colorful fall foliage to peaceful winter walks.
A parking area is available on North Street, with additional trail access from Redcoat Lane, Hathaway Road, Longfellow Road, Brent Road, and the Diamond Middle School parking lot.
