Lexington Strings will present a recital of music contemporary to the April 19, 1775 skirmish on the Lexington Battle Green. The performance will take place at Estabrook Auditorium in the Cary Memorial Building.

Based in Lexington, Massachusetts since 1984, Lexington Strings are musicians Letitia Hom, Yukiko Ueno Egozy, Michael Valdez and Vida Baterina Hom.
Ms. Hom plays a violin originally commissioned by and made for Roman Totenberg in 1982. Luthier Guy Rabut, in New York City, patterned the violin after Mr. Totenberg’s 1736 Giuseppe “del Gesù” Guarneri violin made in Cremona, Italy.
